BACKGROUND

El Perro Grande (EPG) is an award-winning artisan tequila distilled in Jalisco, Mexico, with the spirit of El Paso’s borderland culture. This premium tequila brand launched with a mission to represent the El borderland heritage while establishing El Paso as a destination for world-class tequila.

 

When El Perro Grande partnered with our agency, the brand was just one year old but already winning prestigious awards. Their unique Chihuahua-shaped bottles featuring El Paso’s 915 area code, Franklin Mountains star, and “El Chuco” branding had earned multiple Bartender Spirits Awards, including “Tequila of the Year” honors and recognition by Forbes Magazine as one of the “Best Tequilas of 2023”. Despite this critical acclaim and quality foundation, EPG needed strategic digital marketing to translate industry recognition into market presence, establish themselves in their hometown, and expand nationwide.

SOLUTION

Our comprehensive digital marketing strategy focused on Highlighting the Chucotown roots of El Paso, Texas, and introducing borderland pride to the world. Through integrated web design, brand identity services, graphic design, videography/photography, media buying expertise, and social media management, our objective was to first establish El Perro Grande in their hometown of El Paso, then assist in their expansion throughout Texas and New Mexico, culminating in a nationwide online launch to make EPG a nationally recognized tequila that connoisseurs celebrate.
